Our industry-leading products are known by customers for their quality. We’re certified to the international ISO 9001:2008 standard, which demonstrates our commitment to a highly effective quality system, continuous quality improvement and a focus on customer satisfaction.
Every employee-owner is dedicated to working closely with customers to meet their requirements with the highest quality products and services. To accomplish set quality goals, we employ recognized standards and monitor the employment of these standards through metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
Specific manufacturing quality certifications include:
ISO – certification that our management system conforms to the Quality Management System standard ISO 9001:2008. ISO 9001 is a family of standards for quality management systems that are maintained by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and are administered by accreditation and certification bodies. An ISO audit is scheduled annually on a three-year cycle. An accredited auditor certifies the facility and employee-owners for “the design, manufacture, sales, installation, and service of manual and automatic sampling products, steam and water analysis systems, and sample conditioning and corrosion monitoring products.”
ASME – The company also has a certification of authorization from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) for the manufacture of pressure vessels in accordance with the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section Vlll, Division 1, for Vessels Stamped with "U" Construction Code Designator. The ASME U designation from the National Board of Boiler & Pressure Vessel Inspectors means that Sentry products may carry the NB mark and the company can register boilers, pressure vessels and other pressure retaining items with the National Board. This certification is valid as long as the manufacturing organization holds a valid certificate issued by ASME.

A dedicated Quality Assurance team ensures and monitors quality with measures that include internal audits and trained continuous improvement facilitators. Several employee-owners are trained Black Belts, Green Belts, White Belts, and Six Sigma Champions. Additionally, employee-owners are encouraged to offer new ideas at any time that will improve products or processes. The organization’s quality vision reads:
