Sentry’s Boiling Water Reactor Sampling System is designed to capture liquid samples safely and accurately from the reactor building or turbine building side of a nuclear BWR, while eliminating any release of or spread of contamination to adjacent equipment or to the environment.
The system can capture a variety of sample types such as diluted or undiluted liquids, depressurized degasified liquids or pressurized liquids.
The system can manage pure grab sampling or be designed to work with many types of on-line analyzers such as DO2, H2, pH, Conductivity and IC’s. Each BWR sampling system is customized to your application with a variety of protection depending on the sample. Routine sampling requires relatively small amounts of shielding whereas post-accident, resin, radioactive waste sampling requires a significant amount of shielding.
