Linc Energy Systems to Acquire Sentry Odorant Injection Product Line
Linc Energy Systems has entered an agreement to acquire Sentry odorizer product line
Linc Energy Systems, Inc. announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire the assets of the Sentry odorant injection product line from Sentry Equipment Corp through a “company,” name to be determined.
The Sentry odorant injection system (formerly Zeck Systems, LLC.) safely and accurately doses natural gas streams with odorant to give a “rotten egg” smell. Natural gas is odorized throughout natural gas production, transmission and distribution, per federally mandated regulations and guidelines.
The “company” will be responsible for honoring warranty claims of the Sentry products and will designate Linc Energy Systems, Inc. as its master distributor for the U.S. market. Linc Energy Systems, Inc. has been in business since 1990 and is a certified WBE with its headquarters in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
Susan Bender, President and CEO of both Linc Energy Systems, Inc. and “company,” said, “We have sold the Sentry (Zeck Systems) odorizer line since 2005 and with the recent introduction of the innovative high-pressure system we feel there is great potential. It is a natural fit for Linc Energy Systems and an excellent flagship product to launch this new company.”
“Linc Energy Systems has been a trusted channel partner for the odorant injection product line. Their commitment to excellence brings great value to customers. They are known for providing superior solutions to application challenges and we are confident they will be able to advance the technology while providing excellent service and support,” said Bill Werra, Business Unit Vice President, Sentry Equipment Corp.
The integration of the Sentry odorization line to the new “company” will commence following the acquisition in June. At that time, the assets and manufacturing will transition to Wheat Ridge, Colorado, or a designated Colorado location.
