Southwest Chemistry Workshop
Phoenix, Azizona, June 27-30
This premier annual event provides valuable insights and opportunities for improvements in water and wastewater chemistry issues facing the power generation industry, and allows participants the opportunity to collaboratively discuss principles, concepts, applications and technologies that will benefit the industry’s water and wastewater chemistry processes.
Regional Sales Manager Marcus Kershaw will be speaking on Sampling Strategies and Challenges for Cycling Power Plants.
On June 28th at 9:30AM
Marcus will be sharing his extensive knowledge in the field, in this technical presentation Kershaw will address techniques and best practices for obtaining consistent steam and water samples within a cycling power plant.
Because many sample panels have not been designed to address the unique needs of cycling plants, they fail to:
consistently control pressure, flow, and/or temperature (secondary cooling);
provide consistent online analyzer flows during startup or low loads; or
properly mitigate high iron transport during startup or load changes
Addressing sample conditioning and automation, Kershaw will provide insight on controlling pressure, flow and temperature, as well as improvements and the latest technology available for sample panels.
